To my dearest Jessica: you have stood by my side and cheered me on for years. Through my awkward words and bizarre actions to my unfamiliar thoughts and depressed retreats. I literally would not be here where I am today if not for you. You are an absolutely unique one of a kind goddess on earth and I wish for you nothing but years of happiness and fulfillment. I love you girl, and I am so proud of who you are and how far you’ve come. And I hope you have nothing but good things in your life, but I know that even when the inevitable bad things come- you have a partner who will see you through it in the best possible way for you.
And to my good pal Joshua- you know I used to think that Jessica was too unique and perfect of an individual to ever find somebody worthy enough to meet her on her level of heart and head. Then you came in and I’ll admit I was immediately skeptical of this beach bum looking guy sitting on a chair in board shorts strumming a guitar and humming to himself. But holy cow was I ever turned around. I never thought I would meet anybody out there with the wit, the cheer, the strength, the dedication, and the joviality that I had seen in Jessica. But then I met you, my man and I can’t believe there are two people out here who are so absolutely identical in all the best ways. You have brought a light into the life of this dear friend of mine and likewise into mine as well. I couldn’t wish for a better partner for the woman who constantly inspires me. Thank you for being who you are and for loving this dear friend of mine and, lastly, becoming my friend too.
