There’s not a lot I can say. Stan was a business man, he was a marketer first and a writer second, but you can’t deny what he gave to the industry. Some was Kirby. Some was Ditko. And now the last pillar falls. Stan the Man, we will miss you. It will be strange not hearing your iconic voice anymore or seeing your grin behind those glasses at conventions but maybe now you can talk to Jack again. Maybe now you’ll be at peace. I don’t know what happens when we die. Maybe we go to heaven. Maybe we’re reincarnated. Maybe we’re ghosts. Maybe we decompose and pass our material on to other life forms. All I know is that you will live on. Through your immortal imagination, everything you’ve made will live on. And I thank you for that. We thank you for that. Rest well, Stan. You can finally step off the soapbox and exit the bullpen. You made it, guy. Let us take it from here.
